On March 2, 2026 (Monday), Xiaomi announced the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 8 series, introducing two new models to the brand's tablet family, in the Philippines.
The new tablet lineup consists of the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro, which offer enormous displays, premium hardware, and powerful specifications.
Xiaomi Pad 8
Having been powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the Xiaomi Pad 8 sports an 11.2-inch IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision and an 8MP selfie camera at front.

It has a 13MP primary camera at the back, has a 9,200mAh battery with 45W fast-charging, and comes with support for Keyboard and Pen accessories.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro opts for a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for advanced performance. Having the same screen size as the vanilla Pad 8 model, it also has the 144Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision.

For cameras, the Pad 8 Pro comes equipped with a 50MP primary camera at the back and a 32MP selfie camera in front. Similar to the Pad 8, it also has support for accessories within the brand's ecosystem: keyboard and pen.
It also has the same 9,200mAh battery capacity as the Pad 8, but has charges faster with 67W (vs. Pad 8's 45W)
