Battery-heavy POCO M8s 5G with 144Hz display launched in PH

Xiaomi sub-brand POCO has launched its latest mid-range entry, the POCO M8s 5G, in the Philippines on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Packing a massive 7,000mAh battery, the POCO M8s 5G boasts a 6.9-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate in Full HD+ resolution.

The display is backed by IP64 for water and dust resistance and has an 8MP camera on the front for the punch-hole cut-out, while around the back is a 50MP dual-camera setup joined by its auxiliary sensor.

It uses a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.

The POCO M8s 5G comes in two memory configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Pricing details are as follows: 

  • 6GB + 128GB: PHP 11,999 (PHP 10,699 introductory price)
  • 8GB + 256GB: PHP 13,999 (PHP 12,539 introductory price)
Pre-order promos have now started until April 30 through the brand's official e-commerce channel at Shopee.
