In a post on Weibo, Chinese technology giant HUAWEI has released multiple teaser materials for the brand's upcoming foldable release in China — the Pura X Max.
Unveiling this April 20, the upcoming foldable marks the Chinese company's breakthrough in foldable tech, introducing a wider inner display, distancing itself from the traditional, narrow foldables.
The Pura X Max also carries a book-style form factor that turns into a compact tablet when unfolded.

According to an Unbox PH report, the Pura X Max will have five color options, which will be available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. Meanwhile, the foldable device also sees 16GB RAM variants in either 512GB or 1TB, which are called Collector's Edition.
The Pura 90 Pro series, also from the brand, will also be joining the Pura X Max on April 20 in China, essentially strengthening HUAWEI's portfolio within the smartphone scene.
