In a subsequent set of teasers revealed by OnePlus in China, an add-on controller accessory appears to be joining the release of the Ace 6 Ultra, the upcoming gaming smartphone from the brand.

Although no concrete details were revealed at the moment, smartphone manufacturers like OnePlus are known for posting a lot of teaser materials on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. This time around, the brand posted a number of teaser images revealing the key features of the controller extension for the upcoming device.

Throughout the images, the controller has been referred to as a "dream gear" (machine translated) and is said to be a part of the Chinese tech firm's merch portfolio, transforming the Ace 6 Ultra into a handheld gaming console when attached.

The said "dream gear" also appears to have trigger and shoulder buttons, which are considered a gaming essential, especially when playing titles like first-person shooters.

In other news, there were reports of a OnePlus gaming handheld that had been making headlines days prior. But there's a chance the news may be incorrect. As pointed out by Notebookcheck, the rumored gaming console may just be the Ace 6 Ultra with a proprietary controller.
