OPPO gears up for Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini launch in China

Chinese tech brand OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the brand's new set of tablets, namely the Pad 5 Pro and the Pad Mini, in China, through the teaser images posted on Weibo.

Launching on April 21 in China, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro will boast a 13.2-inch display in 3.4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display will be backed by a 1,000-nit peak brightness and a large 13,380mAh battery with 67W charging tech.

Inside the Pad 5 Pro is a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The tablet will also have support for a keyboard case with a trackpad and backlit keys, which is sold separately.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Pad Mini will sport a smaller 8.8-inch display but retain the 144Hz refresh rate in a 2.5K OLED panel. Underneath the Pad Mini is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, also 3nm, and will come with an 8,000mAh battery.

No other details were mentioned as of the moment, but more information are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
