The official social media handle of Android (@android) posted a quick 11-second clip on Instagram, teasing the mobile operating system's collaboration with girl group LE SSERAFIM, with a date shown at the end of the clip, indicating the release of a brand-new music video for Android.
In the video, the clip shares glimpses of LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin carrying a baggage with a phone in her hand, featuring a mini Android plushie key chain, suggesting the use of Android-branded elements throughout the upcoming music video.
The video ends with a zoomed-out transition, revealing the release date for the music video, which takes place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12 AM ET.
If the date rings a bell, it's because it matches the release date of "BOOMPALA," the title track of LE SSERAFIM's second album, which will also be released on May 22 at 13:00 KST — 13:00 KST is 12 AM ET when converted.
In 2025, LE SSERAFIM also collaborated with Android for the "Come Over" music video, which showed the members using Gemini's integrated features, demonstrating the Google AI's capability to decipher and interpret, such as decoding anagrams, and the use of Android-powered smartphones, like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
LE SSERAFIM is a South Korean-based girl group consisting of five members: Chaewon, Kazuha, Yunjin, Eunchae, and Sakura. Having debuted in 2022, the group has since made several hits, including "ANTIFRAGILE," "Perfect Night," and "CRAZY."
Gemini is an Artificial Intelligence assistant developed by Google. Formerly "Bard," Gemini is designed to be multimodal, which can understand and process multiple types of content. It can also be used to brainstorm ideas and generate images from text prompts.
