Having launched last June in China, the vivo X Fold 6 has recently been tipped to make its way globally as its global release approaches. While there has not yet been any official information regarding its global release date from vivo, a tipster has shared early details suggesting that the smartphone maker's latest foldable's global release is imminent.

As shared by Abhishek Yadav on X (via GSMArena), the vivo X Fold 6 will debut globally on October 1. Following its global release, the flagship foldable will also launch in India on October 6, and will be available in two memory configurations: 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. It will also be offered in Prism Black and Nebula Teal colors and will run on the latest Origin OS 7.

The vivo X Fold 6 has a 6.51-inch outer display that goes up to a large, mini-tablet-like 8.02-inch display when unfolded. Both displays use AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates and 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Inside is a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The chipset is joined by a 7,000mAh battery that charges at 80W through USB-C and runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 for Fold.
For cameras, the vivo X Fold 6 uses a Zeiss-branded 200MP primary camera, along with two other sensors: 50MP for periscope and another 50MP for ultra-wide. Meanwhile, both inner and outer screens use a 20MP sensor for selfies.
