Xiaomi has recently shared that it will be announcing a new smartphone soon in China, and that is the Xiaomi 17 Max.

Revealed as part of the Xiaomi 17 series, the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max joins the crowd retaining the flagship-focused performance with the addition of a massive battery capacity, hence the name.

In a post shared on Weibo, the Xiaomi 17 Max will go live alongside the Xiaomi YU7 GT during the latter's event, which will officially go on sale on Thursday, May 21 at 7 PM.

The event is also joined by the launch of the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro and several home appliances, though the Xiaomi 17 Max is seemingly exclusive to the China market for now, as per a Notebookcheck report.

Meanwhile, a 200MP primary camera with Leica branding, also joins the Xiaomi 17 Max's set of features, alongside the previously-revealed 6.9-inch display.

No other information were revealed by the brand as of writing, but aside from everything mentioned, the Xiaomi 17 Max will be available in three color ways (machine translated): White, Sky Blue, and Pixel Black.
