Motorola has unveiled the Signature 27 at the Snapdragon Summit, being one of the first smartphones to use the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, making it the technology company's most ambitious release yet.
Flagship Motorola smartphone series Signature adopts new naming scheme
Combining the brand's breakthrough AI capabilities and premium craftsmanship, the Motorola Signature 27 is the first of Motorola's flagship devices to adopt a new numerical naming structure using the final two digits of the coming year, hence Signature 27.
The new top-of-the-line crown jewel from the smartphone maker positions itself as Motorola's "most advanced smartphone yet," highlighting its 200MP periscope telephoto sensor offering 'extraordinary clarity' with a generative AI-powered Super Zoom Pro that goes up to 100x zoom, backed by a 50MP Sony LYTIA L910 sensor serving as the device's video enhancement engine.

Meanwhile, the star of the show is the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, bringing 'immense power' to the Signature 27, accompanied by a diamond-infused cooling system and a 3D vapor chamber keeping the chipset cool for long gaming sessions.
Motorola has also partnered with Danish-based luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen, which is said to offer a true, natural audio experience with sound modes designed around how you listen, and also promised seven years of OS upgrades for the Signature 27.
Motorola has not shared other details of the device at the moment, but more details will gradually become available as its release draws near.
