OnePlus has officially revealed the design for the OnePlus 16, the company's upcoming flagship device, in China. The design was revealed on the product's landing page, showing details for the upcoming launch event, although a release date is still nowhere to be found.

Now open for pre-reservations in China, the OnePlus 16 resembles last year's OnePlus 15. It will be offered in Dark Forest (Black), Mars Masterpiece (Orange), and Tomorrow Starlight (Grey) color options in four memory configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.

Both the Mars Masterpiece and Tomorrow Starlight models embody a contour pattern on the rear panel, but the latter carries a more unique design, as it comes with an embedded number 16 and celestial coordinates located at the bottom of the back panel that light up in different scenarios. OnePlus calls this the "interstellar light effect," which serves as a light indicator for calls, notifications, or battery charge level.

Only a few details were revealed on the phone's landing page at the moment, but reports suggest that the forthcoming flagship smartphone from the brand will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, along with a 200MP main camera and a massive 9,000mAh battery.

In addition, the OnePlus 16 will support a system-wide 165Hz refresh rate and will run on the latest ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.

More details will be revealed as the release date draws near.
