iQOO 15T with 8,000mAh battery, 200MP camera launches May 20

Chinese smartphone maker iQOO is set to launch the iQOO 15T, the brand's upcoming flagship smartphone, in China this May.

Launching May 20, the upcoming smartphone from the vivo sub-brand will use the Dimensity 9500 "Monster Edition," a customized variant of the standard Dimensity 9500 with improved gaming performance.

The iQOO 15T will pack a 6.82-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate. Underneath, it will also carry a large 8,000mAh battery with 100W charging and an Android 16-based OriginOS 6 software.

Although not confirmed at the moment, the device is also rumored to be equipped with a 200MP primary camera alongside a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. 

While the phone may have been leaked earlier than the release date announcement, the brand has been constantly posting promotional materials of the device, revealing key specifications of iQOO's upcoming smartphone.

No other details were shared as of writing but more information may be revealed as May 20 draws near.
