itel A300+ launching today with 2-inch rear screen, 7,000mAh battery

itel A Series has been one of the brand's entry-level mainstay for many years, but the itel A300+, which launches today, September 27, blurs the line of what an entry-level device should be.

The A300+ features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display that can go up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness with fast, 120Hz refresh rate. It's also certified for an IP65 rating with "military-grade durability".

The main feature, however, isn't the big display: it's the 2.01-inch interactive rear screen that we can only see in flagship devices such as Xiaomi's Mi 11 Ultra and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, before it started showing up in midrangers and budget devices. It can be used as a secondary screen to take rear selfie photos with its 13-megapixel cameras, while you can check the time, access some quick settings, access the calendar, and play music, as demonstrated by a seller on TikTok.

Its function aren't as advanced compared to its inspirations, but it's nice to see such features on a 146,000 to 160,000 naira phone (around PHP 6,500 to PHP 7,500 after conversion, as of September 27, 2026). Other features includes a big 7,000mAh battery, Helio G81 processor, and an-all plastic build. The itel A300+ is launching in Nigeria today.

We have yet to recieve a word from itel Philippines if this will get a release as well, but knowing the brand's presence here, it's only a matter of when.
